MST Clear intake advice

Hey guys, I ordered the MST clear intake cover. Any tips on attaching the rubber edge? Did you guys use clamps or something to bend it into shape? Mine is remaining curved, and edges keep popping off as I try to attach different parts of it.

I was not aware of there being a clear option, I didn't see this on the MST website, can you link me to where you found this?

If you got it from speedindustry then you’re fucked. They fucked me over with mine. I heard there’s a shit ton of fitment issues and those guys refuse to give money back

I think I left the cover in the car, and its in the shop to clean up some ugly license plate holes. Will do next week.

just installed mine recently, I had to put a flat head in and pry it open middle every inch and it fits well. I hope this helps.

Do these come with the rubber guard fitted? As per the thread, the speed industry ones didn't and the guard fitment is awful.

Did you do anything to hold it in place? I tried that but I always end up with a corner popping back off.

You may have pryed it open too much. Mine is on very snug. Maybe try getting pliers and tightening and re applying?
