I plan to get much more track time in 2022. Is it worth joining either of SCCA or NASA (or something else) to maximize track time? The only tracks within a reasonable drive time from me are Summit Point and Dominion Raceway; I know for both you can sign up directly on the track website for HPDE-type events. I'm trying to figure out what gives me the most number of opportunities. Thanks in advance.

Thats a good starting point. Check the tracks schedules online, I'd imagine they run their own lapping days throughout the year as well.

I’m pretty sure you’ll be welcome at any BMW CCA HPDE event!

Joining NASA does not limit you on your track time. you can always go to the other track events posted on https://www.motorsportreg.com/ or https://www.trackrabbit.com/ as well as other clubs. as for NASA membership, 1 year membership is already included with the purchase of Supra. if that has expired, you can renew it for $50, I believe.

best practice in my opinion is, go to NASA events to ride with instructors as student / passenger. get some tips and knowledge. then go to other events, drive on your own, practice what you learned at NASA events. you should get some questions or what if's. bring those questions to next NASA event and ask instructor to practice. repeat process.

As a member at Dominion we have 40 member days a year.
I am happy to have you as a guest.
Look up the Drivers club calendar and pick some dates.
Send me a PM If you want the details

I am a member of scca and get all the emails from Motorsport and track rabbit too.
Point is you don’t have to be a member of one of those two to get “max” days.

as someone mentioned lots of other clubs welcome non “club brand “ cars also
