Yeah I've written off Nissan a long time ago. The GTR has also somehow nearly doubled in price since when it first came out.
The 370 is just such a big fuck you to the z32.
When the twin turbo 300 came out I thought I'd never again be in a faster car. The 350/370 is such a departure from that I'm left wondering if the next Z will be just as gutless and uninspiring.
I wish Nissan would do the Z with the 400hp VR30DDTT in my Q50-RS. Add a 6spd manual, and I'd probably trade my car in for one.
Oh man that woud be sweet...but maybe it would steal sales from the GT-R?
Could be, but being that they didn't mind making the Infiniti I don't think they care.
The GTR is a $100k+ supercar near the end of its generation, and it makes near 600hp AWD.
I had a 2004 G35 6 speed manual, it was awesome...really enjoyed that car. The GTR is a beast for sure and new there are now getting into a silly price range, used you can early ones for relatively modest dollars but many advising to stay from pre 2011 years...
yeah, you definitely want a DBA versus the older CBA... they fixed and updated a ton of stuff, and I think part of the reason the later car was/is better is because it literally sold for like $25k more on release.
the nicest ones are the 2017+ though IMO; that updated front/rear and interior are WAY better.
They are such huge cars though, with terrible outward visibility. If I was going for big and musclely I'd take a 2018 Mustang GT with the PP2 - much more liveable car for about half the money.
They refer to it as Godzilla for a reason...
I don't think size was the reason.
