OEM center caps

I wasn't able to find any other posts on this so figured I would add one.

If you have either painted or powdercoated your wheels and still rolling the black center caps, I just wanted to note that they can be easily disassembled so the black piece can be paint matched or vinyl wrapped to match your wheels

The chrome circular ring as well as the Toyota emblem are held in with multiple clips which push out from the bottom if you apply enough pressure. I found it easiest to just go along and push each one little by little until they start to release and then it just comes right out.

Just wanted to update ...wrapped the first center cap in gloss charcoal metallic to match my forged charcoal wheels

pic of wheel color below..I’ll post another pic once the caps are installed but the match is spot on

It'd be really stand out if you can smoke the chrome so it's still shiny but a bit toned down of bright chrome.

Yeah that would be cool but more work than I’d like to do lol ..the chrome isn’t as bad since my car is silver but on a darker color car that would be pretty awesome

I’m just happy to have ditched the black caps

reviving this thread, but where did you get your wrap material or is it possible for me to spray paint it?
