As some may know, i work for a dealer in Norway.

We have the ability to order the cars for our customers now, delivery date ETA is November. Only thing one can choose is winter tires as extra.

We can only choose the Premium.
Price is 915.000kr without winter tires. Roughly 105.000$ or 95.000 euro. God bless Norway...

Wow, someone clearly doesn't understand how different markets works..

For example, in Norway the 370z is priced at 950,000 kr or 98,301.25 Euro or $110,283k USD.

https://www.nissan.no/biler/nye-biler/370z.html

nope, can't say i do, because i never purchased a vehicle in another country. So when i see $105k USD, my mind instantly thinks that the car is priced at $52k USD here. Maybe i need sleep but just buying a car in another country warrants an $50k? or its just a $50k markup? Or is that just what the consumer in Norway is used to paying for a vehicle beyond the known exchange rate?

Here is a quick and simple read.

And the loons here in the USA say that we need to be more like the Nordic countries because everything is, “free.”

Here is a quick and simple read.

I know similar stories of high taxing from different countries, like having taxes of taxes, but for the sake of math, nothing in the quoted post adds up :) not even "prices are above" then he tells a much lower price. :)

anyhow 2 cents on "First Time Registration": individual's importing price of a brand new car that has not been "certified" in the country of import ever before, is subject to taxes/paperwork/safety/etc... and since it's a sole individual, they have to cover that price. I believe when dealers import, they either get taxed differently or it is split across thousands of cars.
So, his example pricing I think is for individual import. Which I believe would be true if you imported anything to US as well. I'm sure RHD Supra & GTR importers experienced this...
