How do you think the supra would do in snow? I'm coming from a IS300 1st gen, and that was rwd it had absolutely no problems with snowtires. But the supra has much more power, and weight. Do you think the supra would have any issues in the november snow?

It drives so compliantly I think it will do fine. If we didn’t have so much salt in MI I would consider driving mine in winter as long as it was just inches of snow.

I recalled reading this a couple years ago although the car they are showing may have had a 4 Cyl.

As long as you have proper tires the car itself doesn't matter much. On a set of blizzaks or comparable tires any car can get through winter driving regular roads just fine.

I’ll let you know the first time it snows in CT.

I bought snows for mine right after i got it. J expect it’ll be fine, as long as the snow isn’t higher than the bottom of the car.

They look good. Let us know how it drives in the snow. If it wasn’t for I need a backseat the Supra would be my only car.

Short wheelbase cars are generally amazing in snow, but I’m a little leery about getting enough grip.

drifting in snow is a joy! Have so much fun with the 86, not sure if I want to introduce all that salt, etc. to Supra just yet.

Winter tires are definitely a must for these cars if they’re going to be driven in the snow. I’ve had great experiences with Blizzaks in the past. They can transform any car from a snow sled to a snow mobile. Not too sure if I’ll be getting a set due to having other vehicles to drive in the snow and salt, but if it was my only car I’d 100% get a set.
