Hi everyone,

Picked up my Turbulence Gray GR Supra over a month ago! Came from a Lexus RC-F so it's definitely a change. Few complaints on the car but nonetheless the Supra is a crazy fun car to drive. I think the only goal for this car is to make it a streetable track car. Pretty conservative power goals (420-450WHP and 520-550TQ on pump) on my end as I tend to focus more on suspension and aero on my track builds.

Follow my IG: @stevenlammy

Enjoy!

What I have sitting in the garage currently - Iā€™ll probably get around to installs in the next week or two! Working on remilling some uprights and figuring out how to reinforce the trunk for my swan neck setup so hopefully I can get that done before my next shakedown at Buttonwillow on 7/25 and Laguna Seca on 7/26.

StudioRSR rollcage should be in next week and I'm currently working with Angel from ArtOfAttack to get my hands on their front splitter since they just swapped to the INGS kit.

Finally got my StancePart tankless cups in so I can start on the suspension setup - I run cups on all my cars since you can't beat 2.5in of front lift height adjustment while keeping the performance aspect of coils. Went to a friend's shop to have the Nankang AR1s mounted on my TE37 Sagas. Depending on when the StudioRSR rollcage lands next week, I may have it in time for my back to back Buttonwillow/Laguna Seca day.

Took some time and got my car on a lift so my friend and I could tackle the full SPL catalog consisting of a bunch of arms, links, and bushings. I was supposed to have the Eibach anti-roll kit but they're on crazy backorder at the moment.

Suspension, alignment and fluid changes will be coming in the following week.

Eibach stopped making the sway bars from what I've been told. That's why I went with AfE ones instead. Dropping the rear subframe to do the rear uppers and swaybar sucks.

That's weird - I've been told different by multiple people including a rep from Eibach. My homie that I ordered through said they're currently out of stock. The rep told me they have the front bars in stock but no hardware, and the rear bars are out of stock but they have the hardware.

All I know is that there was no ETA and I couldn't get a straight answer from any of the vendors I deal with or Turn14. I just went with AfE as they were the only other ones that made adjustable endlinks.

Ahh gotcha - sorry to hear about that! Still no ETA but I guess Iā€™m in no big rush. How do you like the AFE F/R sways?

They are well worth it. I'm sure the Eibachs are just as good. A stiffer sway bar makes the handling much more predictable and not scary at the near limit. I'm sure the Cusco ones are a well worth upgrade but I wanted adjustability and originally wanted the Eibachs but here we are.

Wheels will be on tonight, CKS Suspension & SPL Catalog all fully installed. Spherical bushings definitely make a lot more noise but the car feels great. We also were able to get the StanceParts tankless cup setup installed giving me 2 to 2.5 inches of lift adjustment.

The StudioRSR rollcage arrived and is being put into the car as I'm making this post. Unfortunately, the additional rear brace wasn't sent with my package for some reason so that'll have to be installed next time. Bummer. I got tired of waiting for the full Eibach anti-roll kit so I just ordered the Cusco front sway (only front as I feel the rear is stiff enough with my current setup) which I'll be installing tomorrow right before an alignment. Straight to the hotel with my friends for the track day weekend.

Aero wise, Angel from ArtOfAttack got back to me and he'll be shipping me the splitter probably next week - I'll have to fabricate some brackets for the install but no issues there. VerusEngineering dive planes and diffuser will be on next week also. Marshall from Visconti offered me an insane price of a DP + tune so I pulled the trigger on that also. Still working on the swan neck so stay tuned.

I'll update this post with photos tomorrow!
