Surprised how cheap E85 is now compared to 93. Pump near my house has 93 for $4.89.

I know my fuel economy is gone, but it is still nice. Right now I think I'm getting about 10 to 13 miles per gallon. I just filled up so I will see how far I get with 1 full tank. I'm surprised at the Ethanol content ar Sheetz. I'm sitting at 73% right now.

I've been running map 2 without traction issues on the PS4S. But I'm not doing any digs. Just spirited drives on curvy roads.

Gotta love that summer time E content. Most places near me are at 85 some I've seen at 89!

Update:

Still trying to locate a shop to mount the new tires:

Front: Nitto NT555 G2 - 265/35 20
Rear: Nitto NT555RII - 305/30 20

Turbo Guard shipped out today. I purchased a T-Bolt clamp to replace the worm clamp that comes with it. I know it's not necessary.... but I hate the look of worm clamps.

Once the Turbo Guard is is will modify and relocate the strut braces.

I'm also making a gameplan for 2023:

  • I am debating on the TOM'S wide body or not. It would be pointless to buy new wheels if I'm going to do that.
  • 19" monoblock or 2P wheels. Right now I'm looking at Rotiform, SSR, and WORK
  • Building internals
  • Possibly upgrading the Driveshaft
  • Possibly upgrading the Torque Converter
  • More suspension components
  • Maybe a new steering wheel
  • New Tune

I want to know this car's trap numbers so bad...
I guess without upgraded internals it would probably break something(multiple things...and that poor stock torque converter) though, but damn that would be a sick ass run. That E70 map's gotta be mid 9s on a good day w/ XHP stage 3(man I don't even know if a pure stage 1 would wanna take that beating , or if the clutch would just slip in the top end but again it sounds cool in my head)

Also, 800+ wheel in a street build god damn aha. On those nittos too, WOT all 800 horses are gonna hit the ground and go oh man...

On a good tire, this build should 1.35-1.40 60' (with a converter), trap 150-153, for a low 9 (9.3-9.4) 1/4 under ideal driving and track prep. Trap might be lower, given it's a top mount, and there's no Ice Box, depending on DA and Ambient Temp.

For suspension I may just do Rear control arms and leave it at that. the Front LCAs... are starting to be a little noisy on hard turns, but I knew this would happen.

I may just change back to my stock steering wheel.

I guess my top priorities for next year are:

Built Engine
Torque Converter
Driveshaft
Re-Tune

Secondary
Possible widebody
Definitely get some 19" wheels

Stupid stuff:
re-paint calipers

I don't think I'll go with an icebox since I'm trying to keep this car looking clean on the inside... and I don't race, just drive in a spirited manner.
