12 second 1/4 mile on downpipe and tune. Ran a 12.9 at Orlando speed world at 55°F on my Jesse Dabears JB4 tune on 93oct. Could have a bit more power on E mix. Below is YouTube link of a 13.1 run that I was able to record.

not bad for a 2.0 with basically no mods!

Good times indeed for the 2.0 so congrats. I can accept everything about the 2.0 and why someone would be in a position to have it or no Supra at all etc. have no issues with a 2.0 Turbo making more power than a NA 3.0 version. So this isn’t meant for any disrespect towards any 2.0 drivers.

My huge complaint is with Toyota and I’m sure I’m not alone here on the 2.0 models. Did Toyota have a secret partnership with Nissan? Awful decision by Toyota. This is what I can’t unsee every time I’ve seen a 2.0 and that’s Toyotas bad 100%, not the owners of the 2.0s. I’m like hey there’s an Altima, I mean Supra.

I agree they could have done better but also that in person the wheels and overall setup do look much better.

Yes of course, this is just what I see in my head. It’s nothing against the car, I personally just can’t stop thinking Altima. Aside from the wheels, I don’t think there’s any other cosmetic differences. Well the exhaust tips also, but very minor.

And brakes. But yeah, not much. New set of wheels solves the problem, and it’s easy to find 3.0 takeoffs for an OEM+ approach.

I bet spacers, meatier tires, and a drop would also work if one wanted to stick with the 18s.

I believe the 18” have the same tire widths as the 3.0. Main thing would be spacers and a drop with lowering springs

As long as your happy with the wheels that’s all that matters my friend. My mind drives me crazy so enjoy your car as it is. I only see the very similar style because my wife had those very wheels on her Altima (company car), that’s the only reason they are so engrained in my mind. No need to defend your car, enjoy it!

awesome gains!

The 2.0 wheels actually look a lot like an 18" version of the Z4 wheels:

Indeed they do, I saw someone else post something similar without a pic, but they are quite similar now that I look at it.

I meant sidewall. Most people running 18s on their Supra have a track oriented build and run more sidewall. Looks tough.

It's a good thing wheels are easily swapable lol. Running 3.0 brembos, a 3.0 Remark catback, and MSS springs for the 3.0.. hard to know its a 2.0 now other than the exhaust tone.
