yeahhhh they know absolutely nothing about the current tune on the A90. there's no way in hell they can predict how to tune it. unless they're super close to toyota (i know nothing about this shop) which i doubt by the quality of their page. pure snake oil.

Also, reading the description it looks like it simply goes inline of sensors in the intake manifold, which leads me to believe this is the terrifying ghetto VAFC hack again reborn

Hey guys was browsing online and came across this. Looks like a few mods. I notice a flashtune that brings the power to 408 PS (402 HP) along with some chassis mods/ suspension and an air box.

Thougths? Maybe some one can translate

yeah, this was posted a while back actually, but they have quite a few things posted already.

Should be seeing parts releases from other tuning companies soon too.

3 company’s are already working on android/Apple based app tuning for the A90

    1. Engine
    2. Zf8hp (due to be finished this month)
    3. Driving dynamics (steering, suspension, active diff, traction etc)

Having to go to a “remapper” will be a thing of yesterday

I'm hoping to let JR take a crack at the ECU. He's the Prime Motoring tuner (first STi in the 10s, and other high power/high profile cars). I'm looking forward to what he can get out of this engine.

JR is great, but does he have any BMW experience? Afaik he sticks to the Subies right? I'm sure he could pick up the new software pretty quick though.

Jr Barrios is a beast when it comes to Subbie tuning. I have personally seen him tune a few STI’s at P&L here in Chicago. Dude is on point. He is the one who will be tuning my STI this summer .

Not sure how he does with BMW’s and other platforms.

Yeah, I was planning on having him tune my old turbo FRS, but that car ended up getting crashed before I could finish it lol. I've seen plenty of his handiwork though, good stuff!

He's gonna be at Shift Fast later this month. I plan on asking him. I guess I may be the test car for him again.

You haven’t heard of Jr Barrios (JR Tuned) and you have a flat four??? Where have you been ma’ man?? He is a very talented tuner for the boxer platform. If my memory serves me right, he holds the record for tuning the first stock block ~600hp STI (CJ’s STI, see video below). He ran that motor at that power for years because of Jr’s tune. The fact he got a stock block EJ25 to make that much power without grenading is nothing short of amazing. Guys with built blocks are up in the 1000hp range with Jr’s tunes, and are kicking ass and taking names.

    Here is the car:
