Been working on this build for only a short period but figured I will document it going forward. I bought the car in January 2022. My goal is to be an 8 second street car.
Follow my IG for more frequent updates. JB3_is_me

I'm lovin' it that your car basically looks stock with all that under the hood! It's a beast!

Thank you. I may do some more exterior mods in the future, but it would be subtle stuff. I usually care more about the engine bay than the exterior.

Been a long time since I updated this thread. So I finally got the car tuned and ready for FL2K. Installed my Eventuri headlight duct and my drag pack. Qualifying is where I got my first passes on this setup. Wish I was able to get more hits prior but that just didn’t work out.

Best pass for me was during elimination round 1 where I got knocked out. I got treed big time. Ran 9.7 at 153.

Since FL2K I’ve installed a Kirkey seat and Cusco harness bar.

Now I’m still working on improving my short track. Get that ET down and hopefully get into the 8’s soon. Now my current best time is 9.2 @ 149mph with a 1.4 60ft. So still room for improvement. And was 87 degrees with a high DA.

Would you recommend the titan axles over DSS and why?

Beautiful car. Good balance of style and pep.

I can't say one is better than the other. My previous DSS axles where not as strong as the current ones. The Titan are relatively new and not a lot of testing, however they seem to be great so far. Titans don't require a core which is very nice.

Doing another update as its been a while. So in early March, I finally broke into the 8's. Went 8.83 @ 159.5mph, with a horrible 1.5sec 60'. Accidently pushed through the beams. Then went to TX2K, and was able to run another 8.90 lifting, all after having tons of transmission issues during qualifying. I was also able to get a 3.92sec 60-130 when I ran the 8.8 pass. Not many changes to the car. Switched from PTE 6466 to 6870, and a parachute. Now I'm saving to get the motor built so I can be a little more reliable. I will try and add some more photos and videos.
