Hi guys!
I'm a new member here and trying to get back into the "forum" scene and style of communication. I think the last account I made was on nasioc?!
I feel like so many forums have died off because of facebook groups where people ask poorly written questions and get fed lots of unrelated and inappropriate comments. Car culture as a whole has been damaged by social media with so many people being focused on approval and visual appreciation instead of just buying a car to actually enjoy the driving experience.
A few years ago I started running the long driving routes in TN/NC that the s2ki (s2000 community) mapped out and also frequent the famous "tail of the dragon". The amount of absolutely incredible driving roads in North Carolina continously dumbfounds me and for me this was the reboot I needed to get excited about cars and since then I've bought/built several cars with the sole purpose of visiting the area to just 'drive'.
So far I've taken my 15 M4, 18 M3, 95 Supra, 17 gt350, 13 FRS which then became a K24 Turbo FR-S and recently I bought a good friends supercharged stroker S2000 which has been a lot of fun but just isn't comfortable for a guy my size. Currently waiting one of my 5 dealers to get me a white premium manual... almost a year now and just can't seem to get an allocation for what I want... I feel like the supra is gonna be the car I'm waiting for.

It is truly an amazing area. Unfortunately I’m usually driving a SUV, minivan or some other rental when in that neck of the woods on family vaycay. Great job at getting all your rides down there! You ever consider hitting up some of your local tracks? Lots of other people like us there, get to truly enjoy your car’s capabilities and everyone is on the same page. Proving people can enjoy more than just their daily commute.
