Had a question about the Titan Catless Downpipe.

I recently installed it this past weekend, and on my way home today I decided to rev my car a bit to hear some of the burbles and pops that came stock with the car.

To my surprise, I didn’t hear as much burble or pops as I did when I had my OEM Downpipe.

Does anyone have any insight or experience on this?

I also have a JB4 with Map 2, for more info.

I'm not a fan of them burbles, but if your looking for some more go with Map 6, tuned by Jesse on E30. There will be more I promise. Don't forget to put in sport mode. And a lot more power.

I was going to say did you have it in sport mode
My car is constantly in sport mode.

It just seems like when the engine is warmed up, and I rev it, I don't get the burbles.

But when the engine is cold it does.

Not a good idea to rev up a cold car
Obviously I waited for my rpms to go down and after driving for a bit to start warming up the engine faster.

I did notice the burbles are gone when low on fuel before the Downpipe.

I get louder burbles now when I shift down.

No OP, you're not the only one that noticed this.

My Titan doesn't burble as much as the stock pipe did either, however it's louder on really aggressive downshifts and high-RPM throttle lift off. I literally think it's an exhaust gas velocity thing; where the stock pipe flow/speed would make a multiple pop-pop-pop, and the catless flow ends up making a single mmmuuurrrrpppffpp.

Personally, I like it much better this way.

Honestly, this is what I have been experiencing.

It does sound more like a "race car", also being louder at the same time. But it's nice to hear the burbles some times too.

You made the perfect sound effects!

I have a Titan catless downpipe and a Titan exhaust on my 2020 Supra. The burbles and downshifts are loud even in comfort (non-sport) mode. In sport mode it sounds like a race car on full throttle. Stock exhaust was tame compared to the Titan.

The burbles calm down some after the car warms up but mine never go away completely.
