Is it only in the UK/Aus where the Toyota name badge has been put above the SUPRA badge?

Although last night I did notice a video on Utube (Aus?) where they removed the Toyota name, looks a lot better without it.

They made the right decision and took it off of the cars that were sold in the U.S. - it definitely looks a lot better without it.

Mentioned this in another thread. All EU spec Supras have it.

Thanks, That explains the footwear website when you just type in Supra..

Name Badge would have been better if done in the same colour as the Supra badge, rather that chrome.

Just remove it, I will be when the car finally arrives! You just have to gently warm it up with a hair dryer or heat gun (don’t go too hot) and it’ll make the glue on the badge go soft and tacky, you can then gently prise it off, I use a towel or rag folded over several times to protect the paintwork and then gently work round it with a screwdriver, it’s easy to do but I know some people worry in case they’re clumsy so you can try getting some dental floss or fishing line behind and cut through the glue. Then get some tar remover or similar and remove the excess :)

Yeah, it’s almost like Toyota wants people to remove it.

I did indeed, booked in for 28th so on two weeks time, seems a little daft considering the car will arrive so soon afterwards but hey ho haha

If you want a video just search YouTube for “debadge car” and there will be loads of examples, it’s dead easy :)
