If the rumors (one of them it appears from a credible insider) of a manual option MKV Supra are true, it could put a big cloud over the Z releaseā€¦

Us not hearing weight specs on the Z is already a big cloud.

I like it but think the required black roof is absurd design element forced in most of the colors. Why no choice. Fkn stupid.

Does look dull but I also believe itā€™s the quality of the picture taken. I would assume itā€™ll look much nicer with a better photo and of course in person.

Welp. What we all expected :

So much for Supra killer.

2022 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 0-60 mph = 3.8 sec 1/4 mile = 12.1 sec @ 117 mph
2023 Nissan Z (Performance package) (automatic) 0-60 mph = 4.0 sec 1/4 mile = 12.3 sec @ 116 mph
2023 Nissan Z (Performance package) (6MT) 0-60 mph = 4.3 sec 1/4 mile = 12.8 sec @ 112 mph

This video is absolutely perfect, my buddy bought his Mach 1 at the same time I got my Supra and we've been talking about the Z. Really glad the video was straight to the point. I think the tires bit was thrown in there as a bit of copium to give hope to those wanting the Z. Given equal tire set up, the result should still be the same IMO. I also really think the Supra is going to track and autocross much better than the Z just from a straight car design standpoint.

Doesn't the Performance Z come with the same tire size as the Supra? Like 275 in the rear? Maybe the tires they chose don't have as good traction, but sure sounds like (from other reviews too) Nissan just didn't tune the thing for hooking up quickly. Even Supra folks gripe about lack of traction on stock setup.
