I tried searching this thread but with 155 pages its a lot to go through. I'm a total rookie on a track, other than a couple of autocross events in a Miata.
I'm ready to book my complimentary HPDE-Intro track day, but could use some sound advice from anyone who is experienced. In my head...
Here’s a YouTube video that explains how to hard wire. The dude has a different charger, but the instructions worked fine with my CTEK. Just be sure to cycle through the modes on the CTEK so the car and AGM lights are illuminated:
@BillyLong42 Nice! 😍 I've wondered what we look like sitting in traffic since I've only seen a couple driving by. Went to Vegas a couple weeks ago expecting to see at least one, but no luck.
I just found this thread. I'm in the Columbus area and got a '23 3.0 Premium MT in absolute zero in...
The tint looks good. I agree, you'll need to decide if it's too dark at night.
The color of the tint is a bit darker than the door enhancements and wing, but not offensive imo. I agree with @MisterSkiz on the reflector though - color keyed would be way better. And as nice as the wheels are...
While I was still waiting for arrival, I went into the dealership and asked them how they would prevent someone else from buying the car out from under me. My salesperson pulled up the car and showed me it was reserved in my name because of my $500 deposit.
I'd say have both. The Supra is more expensive, more powerful, more everything, and you're right - you can't (legally) use a Supra's full power on the streets, but a Miata is still fun. Not great for long travel, but try autocross with a Miata and you'll walk away skipping, smiling, and doing...
I got my 3.0 Premium MT less than a month ago, so I've just started looking into the free track day. I'm disappointed they expire after a year, because the ones near me are in the past or full the rest of this year. I would love to see a Supra/GR86 track day!! I noticed in the track day...
I agree with Stvee; Toyota inventory site shows allocations. Set the distance to 500 miles and your desired specs. You'll be able to see exact match vehicles and what stage they are in (build phase, in-transit, pending sale, etc.) and you can contact the dealer to put down a deposit (a...
Just got my Supra, but it will not be my daily driver all year. We started with two Subarus. I let my hubby trade in my '12 Subaru for a truck, so now we have his (our) '16 Subaru, his truck, and my Supra. My Supra will not leave the garage in the winter, or even if I know bad weather is...
With a MT the cup holders are nearly useless. I say only water in a sealable YETI, etc., and then only if it's a longer drive where you are actually going to get thirsty. It's a hard no to food. You can wait until we get to our destination, or if traveling, it's good to stretch our legs so...
"my clown horn was BLASTINGGGG….."
My least favorite thing about my Supra is the sissy horn for this very reason. I'll be making a change there ASAP. Best of luck to you!
I got lucky. In May I walked into the dealer closest to my home after hearing the ICE would be going away around 2025 to ask how long it takes to order a Supra (was thinking it would be a '24). The reply was, "We can't order Supras; they are allocated and we have no idea when we'll get one or...
