I tried searching this thread but with 155 pages its a lot to go through. I'm a total rookie on a track, other than a couple of autocross events in a Miata. I'm ready to book my complimentary HPDE-Intro track day, but could use some sound advice from anyone who is experienced. In my head...

Agree 100% and additionally recommend a battery tender with an AGM indicator. CTEK has them for sure, other brands probably do too.

Here’s a YouTube video that explains how to hard wire. The dude has a different charger, but the instructions worked fine with my CTEK. Just be sure to cycle through the modes on the CTEK so the car and AGM lights are illuminated:

The tint looks good. I agree, you'll need to decide if it's too dark at night. The color of the tint is a bit darker than the door enhancements and wing, but not offensive imo. I agree with @MisterSkiz on the reflector though - color keyed would be way better. And as nice as the wheels are...

While I was still waiting for arrival, I went into the dealership and asked them how they would prevent someone else from buying the car out from under me. My salesperson pulled up the car and showed me it was reserved in my name because of my $500 deposit.

I'd say have both. The Supra is more expensive, more powerful, more everything, and you're right - you can't (legally) use a Supra's full power on the streets, but a Miata is still fun. Not great for long travel, but try autocross with a Miata and you'll walk away skipping, smiling, and doing...

Just built a 2024 3.0 Premium MT in black/hazelnut. I think it looks pretty sharp. White would look cool with hazelnut too imo.

I agree with puzzled, in the PNW I'd look for a used Subaru, they are everywhere, and keep the Supra for the good weather.

With a MT the cup holders are nearly useless. I say only water in a sealable YETI, etc., and then only if it's a longer drive where you are actually going to get thirsty. It's a hard no to food. You can wait until we get to our destination, or if traveling, it's good to stretch our legs so...
