Took the words right out of my mouth. The performance and driving dynamics can be debated all day, but Toyota already showed their hand in January 2014. This has to live up to the FT-1 in terms of its design.

This is what I fear as well. I would be okay with if Toyota comes right out the gate with the top line Supra, and then maybe do a special "GTS" or Gazoo tuned track model. But I would not want them to do a mid-cycle refresh ( think Porsche .1 and .2 models) or annual updates a la the GTR...
