For people that want to save a couple hundred bucks and don't mind using posi-taps this is for you!
$400 total DIY flex fuel kit.
Compatible with both BootMod3 and Ecutek
Precision Raceworks Ethanol 360 fittings
$89.99
Zeitronix ECA-2 CAN
$239
Continental Flex Fuel Sensor #13577429
$59.99
Flex Fuel Sensor Pigtail
$7.59
Posi-Taps
$8.41
You keep your OEM fuel line and use the PR 360 fittings to install the flex fuel sensor inline. Super clean and reliable install. Everything tucks away out of sight as well!
For power, you can tap at the ECU, or use a add-a-fuse in the passenger side kick panel at Fuse F47.
For ground, you can ground in the passenger side engine bay cubby, which is the same area where you can bring the wires from the engine bay into the interior.
For CAN connection, you can connect at the ECU or the passenger side kick panel, twisted pair, yellow with white stripe and yellow with black stripe.
At the ECU:
CAN is A46*1B, pins 41 & 42. Wires are yellow with white stripe and yellow with black stripe.
Power is A46*5B Pin 06. White wire
Easy peasy. Power, Ground, CAN high and low and pow! You now have flex fuel input to your Bootmod3 or Ecutek tune.
Here is it being logged with Bootmod3 on my personal supra:
