Door switch trim repair?

I’ve had too many shops work on my car and recently noticed a scratch on my driver’s side switch panel trim. The scratch is deep enough to feel a catch when I run my fingernail across it. Any way to fix this without buying a whole new door card? The only options I see online are those carbon fiber covers, but the idea of slapping something over to cover a defect doesn’t sit right with me.

Cover it with carbon fiber panel actually sounds pretty good to me. I dont think you can fix this tbh. And OEM part panel probably cost more than carbon fiber aftermarket parts.

Or maybe applied PPF on it so at least you wont feel the damage with your finger, but this sounds stupid.
