Regardless of dollar conversion rates, it shows that you need to dump a lot of money in to a Z to go faster.

In fairness, the video wasn't all that informative and made little sense as a comparison. They took a top model Supra (GTS) and compared a regular Z because "it made sense." That's an extra $10,000AUD for upgraded wheels, HUD and stereo. Add to this that their $8,000AUD of "upgrades" (other than a JB4 alternative) were all cosmetic and it makes you wonder exactly what were they actually comparing: A Supra with nearly $20,000 of cosmetic addons vs a Z with $30,000 of performance parts? 🤷‍♂️

Does the base Ozzie Z receive an LSD? The Z was clearly struggling to put the power down, even in third.

If they tested one with an open diff, it seems like the best "track day mod" you can do to the Z is start with the sportier trim.
