Those adhesive strips were packed as intended, helps with organization to cut them all in the same direction. Since they are mirror images of one another you can simply flip the adhesive for the opposite side

LOL ok my bad I didn’t know the adhesive is the same on both sides. Always thought the side bonding to the car has to be the strong side
