In 18 months when all things are said and done, I suspect history will be owned by the merits of the Supra. There might not be anything like it again and they will not be common. Hell they aren’t now

I wonder how much of the Z4 getting a MT takes away Supra MT production.

Thanks for updating the thread. The grand total now sits at 22,735 units sold.

It's literally following the same trend as every sports car does. By the 4th and 5th years sales drop off until a new gen pops up or the car gets discontinued.
We hear complains about unavailability of Supra and long waiting lists. It is hard to sell cars which were not yet made. I suspect that we would see higher sales figures if people could come to a dealer and find few of these cars on the lot to choose from.

100% Up until my actual purchase in November, i legit never sat in anything but a base manual, and it was annoying. can't ascertain if you want to buy a car when you can't find one to see/sit experience

We've said it a million times now, Toyota is having zero trouble selling these things, as almost every dealer has a waitlist. My local dealer has NINE people, and less than half will actually get a car. The only time a 3.0 isn't sold and delivered the moment it hits the lot, is when the dealer has marked it up too high.

They should really convert to 75% manual transmission. Every dealer I'm checking at has a long list of manual transmission requests, while for auto it's only a couple, and some don't have any.
Maybe Toyota will. They already went from 25% to 50% MT.
