The rear rotors can simply be changed to larger ones off the Premium model, no? This effectively makes the two models equivalent in terms of the brakes, correct?

Has it been confirmed that the calipers are different? As far as I know, the only difference between the base and premium brake setup is a smaller rear rotor and no red paint.

I don't know how that would NOT be possible...the rotor on the base Supra is a whoppin' 0.6" smaller in diameter. Someone who is familiar with both models would have to confirm, but the Toyota part numbers for rear brakes (calipers/brackets) are identical for base and premium setups.

Again, I don't see any indication that there is anything different in the rear brakes other than a smaller rotor for the base model.
