Yeah the majority of all these carbon parts come from the same place is Taiwan. Places in the US are just importing in bulk and marking up the price 300% for a profitBro this is why i am asking. Seems like all these products come from china? So just getting feedback
I could park my car next to one with the $300 OEM CF mirror caps and you would not know which was which. If never seems to amaze me to put cheap crap onto a brand new Supra. ?‍?‍

Not the point. I would know myself. If your going to do it, do it right. It doesn’t bother yall to put $30 crap onto your beautiful new Supra?I could park my car next to one with the $300 OEM CF mirror caps and you would not know which was which.
Don’t do it. Do it right the first time. On all parts.Bro this is why i am asking. Seems like all these products come from china? So just getting feedback
For a part that’s purely cosmetic that doesn’t save weight over plastic, that isn’t difficult to install or affects the drivability/looks of the car negatively, I think $30 over $800 for an OEM set is forgivable ?Not the point. seibon is arguably the most expensive or most commonly used high end carbon brand and I see posts all the time of their hoods, spoilers, trunks and other bits having issues with the clear coat or weave. It’s super hit or miss with these companiesIt's not about where they come from, but how they are manufactured. You commission a company to create the product to a certain standard. That same manufacturing plant will then manufacture their own product using cheaper materials/lower standards, but utilize the same design.
Designs are stolen all the time by various plants, but they also make genuine products there too. Sometimes it's the same place making genuine and knockoff products.
Companies selling more expensive CF parts here from China usually have them made using more expensive materials and methods. Yes they do mark it up, but your are getting a higher quality product.
Personally I would never buy cheap cosmetics for any car. I've seen the effects of low quality carbon and how horrible it looks within a year or 2. Especially if it is left out in the elements.
I have nothing against anyone who grabs the Ebay special. I persobally don't have the tenacity to deal with having to refinish or replace the pieces every year.
At the end of the day, get whatever suits your needs.
Usually if it's not an item made by the original manufacturer or their performance division, you will never get perfect fitment and/or perfect pieces. Every body shop I've been to points that fact out. The reason TRD pieces are so expensive is because of all the engineering that goes into them as well as the quality control. They are also pure carbon fiber and come with proper hardware and super intuitive, amazing templates.seibon is arguably the most expensive or most commonly used high end carbon brand and I see posts all the time of their hoods, spoilers, trunks and other bits having issues with the clear coat or weave.
