I am checking out a few shops to either cast or CNC machine the tow hook in 17-PH steel. I want to get a batch ready some time in July, but no promises yet. I should have a better idea of timeline once I get a solid quote from them.
The location of the OEM hole is not ideal. Wouldn't look right if it just came straight out. This design has a custom hook that is slightly offset. The placement looks a lot better.

You need to find your instruction booklet. The 3 push pins are stapled to them. You need them to complete the installation. They are included in every box. I always triple check before shipping. DM if you still can’t find them.
The instructions are not available on the website due...
The hook was made intentionally asymmetrical. It was a design decision made based on the space available. The intention was to offset the position of the hook so it doesn't cut into the side of cover or fake vent piece. You are right that it would require one full rotation to orient the hook...
I started a new thread to get some feedback for the tow hook. Please share your thoughts!

After the successful launch of the DivineDrive.co Bumper Air Intake Duct, I thought it would be a good idea to design something for the other side of the bumper. I hate seeing amazing Supra builds, only to see the unsightly hole that the tow hook uses on the fake vent. So here is what I came up...
One thing that I was concerned about was the carbon content in 304. Might not be as strong as other alloys. I’ve seen other “premium” aftermarket tow hooks made with 304, but I’ll definitely look into chromoly and do a comparison. I would rather do a PVD coat instead of a powder coat for its...
You won’t be able to just unscrew it because of how the cover surrounds the tow hook. However, I do plan on creating a license plate mount add-on that attaches to the end of the tow hook and can be easily removed for track days or when the hook needs to be used. Depends on interest though.
It will be fully functional. The tow hook will be one piece and stronger than those fold down ones with the hinge. Still deciding on the final alloy to use, but I’m leaning towards 304 stainless for its corrosion resistance. It will be designed to be used and abused.
Looks amazing! Btw, I am working on a sleek tow hook solution. It will get rid of the hole left by removing the small cover, and match a bit better with my air duct.
