It rains a lot in Seattle. When the roads are wet during the day but it gets below freezing overnight meaning the roads will be icy. My first car was a rwd and I never thought about it other than no snow driving.

Live in Seattle. Your big issue is going to ice during winter and the occasional snow. If you HAVE to drive on snow days, I would say pass, simply from how low it is. If you can public transport or work form home on the random snow day, you would be fine with some nice 'all season' tires.

The logo is laser etched into it, its not a sticker. Meaning it is burned into the surface of the aluminum eating away at the anodized layer. Painting won't really cover it up unless you go really heavy and basically fill it in... but that would be a lot of paint. Probably better to sand it down...

Good to know. I'm glad there are solutions for everyone's requirements. For me the touchscreen was required, my wife's Audi has no touchscreen but knob and steering wheel input only, it's painful to use every time. I wasn't going to accept a solution without it.

Sure thing. With the other display modes the input lag was about 1.5 to 2 seconds. With it on mode 3 its down to around 1 sec. This is what you think is better? Do you have this installed? Where's the video showing the input lag of Android Auto with this solution? I haven't found one. Or...

No it doesn't. When I was testing with my daughter's iPhone it also didn't have directions in the HUD. But I also didn't test a whole lot with directions. Some quick googling shows it only shows HUD directions from the built in Nav, not from Carplay. So I believe the experience here is the same...

Will need someone with an iPhone to confirm, but when I was testing I didn't see any route info on the hud. But this isn't available from AA on the hub
