So I have put 700 miles on the Supra and love it. Did a mountain run and it was hard to keep under 6k rpm, but tried my best until I reach 1k miles.
How does it compare to the 992T.
Surprisingly it drives very similar to T. The power delivery feels the same before I got the Carrera T tuned and...
Thanks for the detailed info. I will definitely follow up. A lot has to do with my driving style since I am so use to middle engine cars that I can really balance with my throttle.
Congratulation!!!!!!
Sorry, I have been focused on sorting my Cayman for weekend at two different tracks.
I love the car so far but only have put 300 breaking miles so can't do an honest comparison yet. As soon as I can open her up I will. So far it's a fantastic do it all car.
Can you expand on the toe settings. From what I have read (and I don't even have my Supra, hopefully Saturday), there seems to be a dynamic issue when you unload the car the rear becomes unpredictable.
That’s the opposite of what I’m use to in my 992, and even my cayman.
Since it’s a dynamic...
I saw that, yes, it's entertainment. But definitely not my purpose. I want to know how a Supra will do on tight apex's and long sweepers.
Quick update, Carrera T is gone and Supra should be picked up Saturday if the dealer doesn't play any games when I get there given they already have 90% of...
@luv2xlr8 it's funny you mention that. That was my first thought especially coming from a rear engine car. It appears fronts are limited unless you add camber plates. Rear seems to have more adjustability.
I hope it doesn’t feel like my 99 996, because although the analog driving experience is fun, it’s sloooow. It feels somewhere in between the 992 and 987.2 with 3.8 swap then I think I should be perfect. I also had a 996tt x50 in the past and loved it, but turbo lag was a thing back then.
