Last month I had my oil changed at the dealer and when I handed over the car, a tech got in to take it back to the service area and he must’ve been trying to hit the brake but he mashed the gas and revved the shit out of the engine. I have a basically stock car, I do have an mst intake and I...
zoom in and see where I circled in green. Loosen the 16mm nut and press the wiper down at this point - you can see there are two pieces that make up the wiper arm. Pressing down here releases the wiper arm from the bolt and allows it to rotate freely. Move the wiper into the correct position and...
It has been
It’s been a minute but rereading my post I believe you want to expose the 16mm nut and loosen it (but don’t remove it). Then press down on the wiper blade between the blade portion and the arm portion, where they come together and are held together with a spring. Push and “bend” the...
My Acura has both volume and track on the wheel so this little quirk in the Supra drives me nuts.
You can skip/previous tracks by clicking the idrive controller knob to the left (prev) and right (next) which is better than trying to use the arrows on the dash by the numbers
remember to click...
I also have the trunk mat and it is just as good as the floor mats. The only downside is, if you did the subwoofer mod, the tux mat will partially cover the holes you made in the trim panel, though it’s not a tight seal so it doesn’t affect the audio quality any. And I have a trunk organizer...
It looks like the only background colors they match are the absolute zero and nitro yellow for the Supra and the white and blue for the 86. I guess I will see how mine look and feel once/if I ever receive them. I don’t mind them being light or cheap feeling as long as they look good on the car...
I ordered mine from emblems only June 8 and still don’t have them. They did say the absolute zero painted ones were special order and take 7-10 days, but so far zippo. Emailed them last week and still no reply. Guess I’ll keep waiting.
How did they look other than the red not matching?
Last year I bought Tux Mats for the cabin and fell in love with them. Decided to go back for the trunk liner and it was out of stock, as were the cabin mats. Both were out of stock for months. I signed up to be emailed when the trunk mat came in stock and that finally happened today. Order the...
Updating this for that poor bastard 7 years for now that has the same problem, googles it, sees comments discussing his exact problem only to realize the thread ended with no resolution
So I took the cap off - if it doesn’t pull right off try using a claw shaped plastic trim removal tool
16mm...
Went to the dealer to get my first oil change/service. Made the appointment 3 weeks ago because I am off work all of this week. Get there 30 minutes early and they put me right in. 20 minutes later I see my car pull up and think damn that was fast. Come to find out, they claim the kit they...
The safelite guy definitely removed them and reinstalled. I’m going to pull them off in the morning and see if they can be installed in the proper orientation. Like they should be installed at 8 o clock but he put them back at 10 o clock if that makes sense. We will see
There are still dozens of us. I completely refinished the stock wheels on my old maxima in gloss black. Plasti-dipped the wheels on my TSX black and was going to have my Supra wheels refinished in black but was lucky enough to get in on the satin black oem wheel deal earlier this year.
Looks like there is a plastic cap that likely hides a nut that secures the wiper to the turny-dealy. Guessing if I remove the nut I can remove the wiper and put it back on in the proper position.
Side note: looks like someone is detailing their engine bay this weekend
I had a mobile safelite guy out to replace my cracked windshield yesterday. When I tried to get the wipers into the “service” position for him he told me not to bother as he had to remove them completely to do the replacement.
Driving in to work this morning I can’t help but think the passenger...
