Hate to revive an old thread but I have experienced the 1st to 2nd gear grind, and nothing I have tried has fixed it, deleted CDV, bled the clutch, removed power mods (the grind was happening when car was bone stock too). Getting a motorcycle has helped me go easier on the car which has helped...
It's a new car, shouldn't the dealer warranty it?
I COULD bleed the clutch but it doesn't seem like it's slipping or spongy, and I haven't done anything to it to get air into the system. I haven't even deleted the CDV yet.
I'm going to be honest I have NO idea what I'm looking at, did a 3rd gear pull from 2500rpm to 5ish/6ishk rpm. I have no idea what to change or do. this was Map 2, was getting some pretty bad throttle hesitation, so I switched to map1 and it's been smooth. but I want to get more power out of it...
I am pulling straight back yes, but I’m not slamming it into gear by any means, I’m gentle and precise with my shifting, albeit quick. I’ll have to look into that shift kit after I take it to the dealer.
I do get that as well yes, I assumed it was from the CDV, but you said you did the CDV delete… is that clunk still present? Also in fast gear changes, (i notice this most in 3rd-4th) my car will sort of overboost/revmatch, Like it thinks i’m downshifting, and then it backfires hella loud, makes...
The car is like 6 months old dude. The car that I daily drove before this one did not have a CDV and I know how to find the bite point very quickly and easily. The CDV makes it like a mystery in the lower gears. I do take my time shifting, when I'm driving normally it is completely fine, but in...
I picked up my 2024 MT in absolute white in November, ever since I’ve been out of breakout period and started ripping on it, I’ve slowly noticed this issue getting worse. I can almost never get into 2nd gear when I’m gunning it. 1st launch is fine, but then when it comes time to shift into 2nd...
I know this thread is old, but I'll post this anyways, I managed to get the video in motion to work perfectly, you need to use BIMMERCODE (needs a paid license) to code in the function as it is turned off by default. You also need to enable the "Additional video codecs and formats." for the part...
