Rear still available. Brand new, FREE if anyone wants it. Itās just sitting here taking up space. But, pickup only, located in Parkland FL.
Come get it if youāre local.
Recently ordered these from Apex for a track project that we abandoned. Wheels and tires only have rolling miles on them when we put the car on the alignment rack. No TPMS sensors installed, didnāt want to deal with all the electronics and errors.

$200 plus shipping. Itās a big box and some of the ups/fedex/usps quotes Iāve seen arenāt great unfortunately, so let me know where this would ship to. Local in FL would be ideal.
I didnāt mean in terms of speed. Itās definitely much quicker than a non-turbo 996. I meant it as a comparison to the raw and more mechanical/pure feel to it vs. the luxury of modern expensive sports cars.
The supra will feel closer to your 996 than the 992. Not as refined, slower (stock), but much more analog and a blast to row gears in. I had a 996tt and currently have a 991.2 RS and M5CS, and honestly reach for the Supra keys pretty often. Itās a lot of fun to get close to 100% out of a light...
Coming from years of racing M3ās with many many sets of Apex wheels, naturally we ordered a few sets for the new Supra track build. Perfect fit, no clearance issues.

I picked these up for the track build but ended up using Whiteline swaybars instead. They are brand new, never removed from the boxes. Ordered from Limit+1 for $550 for the set, asking $400 plus shipping.
Located in S. Florida, willing to drive within reason to meet halfway for a local pickup.
Definitely a target for us. We ran Super Solo at Winterfest with PBOC for many years, before NASA took over. A few low 20s in heavy Porsche traffic a few years back in the Frankenstein e30m3. Canāt wait to get the Supra out thereā¦
Hoping to do something in December at Sebring as a shakedown run. Cooler weather may help get some laps in before we do hood/cooler/manifold.
Yeah, teens at Sebring will be the goal but may take a while.
Thank you, thatās what we ended up doing, went in through the battery compartment. Much easier.
Rear end Is done. Will tackle front next weekend hopefully.
Has anyone been successful in using Verus brake ducts with 11ā wide fronts? We got steering rack limiters but not sure there is room in there.
After many years racing bmwās, we finally started our supra build. I read all 288 pages of this thread and all other race builds here, learning from all the experience and suggestions. Also connected with Ben at Limit+1 and he was a great source of guidance as well, so we jumped right in...
Car was quick for sure. 2400lbs wet, 367whp from the s54 engine in it, dry sump, MCS externals, PFC BBK, pretty much anything you can throw at it. Was built to race PBOC and NASA and after running it for years, I sold it to a friend of mine. Car is in Tampa now, still a ringer with NASA. Ran...
Gabe, good luck at Sebring, you will love it! We have thousands of laps there, and each time out, I learn something new about the track. Challenging, bumpy, technical in parts and rewarding when you get it right (nothing like finally getting t17 or going flat through bishops). Be patient, and as...
Quick math is:
car 1 height + car 2 height + 12ā minimum
My ceilings are 122ā high so enough room for the M4 GTS, GT3RS and Supra to interchange. I had to do it in the single garage on the side since my double garage has a 6ā support beam across the ceiling that would have made it too tight.
GT3RS + Supra stacked in the single garage. Dream garage would probably be the new 992 GT3RS + my old ā98tt mkivā¦I miss that car and regret selling it.
As background info...Iāve owned a couple MKIV Supraās, also an ISF and GSF and now drive an LC500. Iāve also sat in and driven next to a new Supra but have never driven one myself.
My opinion is āit dependsā :)
- interior LC by a mile but the Supra felt much much nicer than I expected in...
