If it totally breaks you’ll lose all boost and turbo will stop whistling, that’s what happened to me. But my flap was totally missing and presumably shot out the exhaust lol

My tuner confirmed for me that the Remnant turbo in my car requires a slightly higher oil pressure so I’ve been running with that. No real issues. Still can’t read oil level through the iDrive so I just read it through ecutek.

Do you have any knowledge on how dangerous it is to have an extra 12-15psi at peak? It doesn't ever reach the threshhold to throw a code. Trying to gauge how critical it might be to get it replaced sooner than later.

Did you ever figure anything out for this? I am having the issue on my 2020 where I can't read oil level and I just noticed my peak oil pressure at WOT is around 94-95psi and I read that it should be around 80psi.

Update for my issue with this symptom, oil drain line from my Remnant turbo is kinked and not allowing proper drainage. Will have to clock turbo to make everything fit nicely, start car to see if it's still smoking or not. If so I will have to swap CHRA, if not I will have to take turbo out and...

First turbo self-deleted the wastegate flap and I had no boost til 5000rpm. Now more issues, unsure if turbo related but it is the most likely.
