Usually, the point where the cover open up is usually under the emblem and that part of the air bag cover flies upward. IMO, i don't think you have to worry about shrapnel from that flying at you. And 3M tape usually does a great job with adherence. I'm not saying there is a 0% chance of it...

Just ordered a couple of things for the A91. Felt that the A91 was missing the passenger side CF accent between the vents after seeing the Launch Edition and to keep the plastic around the door handle clean, got the CF cover for it, also helps add a little more CF accents. May go get the CF...

I'm sure at freeway speed, that vent does expel a little bit of heat, nothing super significant. People though that the RX8 vents didn't do anything until someone hit the freeway with a thermal camera and saw heat coming out of the vent.

I asked for that, still waiting for a response from them. But i definitely am getting myself one of these too.

A tune will give you more gains than getting a new intake. Like @Rocksandblues said, you'll get it more for the whoosh or for engine bay dressing than anything else.
