It's a tms plug n play harness for the reflex, we did register the battery via bimmerlink. We did check some fuel related fuses but didn't check all fuses yet so that is something we will do next time we mess with the car.
Most of them are ignorable due to the car having a stock tune in it and the car having the evap deleted and top mount turbo. The battery is new and we put a battery tender on it while testing different things.
Backstory: Motor broke a ringland 1 year and 3months ago, it then sat in my garage for that duration untouched while i got funds to swap the motor but then decided to change the turbo kit and build the trans etc. the car would still start and idle when it blew up. While it sat the battery...
Yes thankfully it was something with the com ports needing scanned for changes. Which is weird because I did that before and nothing but this time I changed usb ports and did the scan and for whatever reason it worked.
As title says I just cant get tunerpro rt to find my reflex I have all the correct parameters as far as I know selected and nothing. Bootloader will find the reflex box right away and I have updated the firmware. Has anyone ran into this issue before? My settings in Tunerpro rt preferences I...
Thanks for helping I don't believe they are going to fail I have no concern of it also I can't run a spacer as that will poke out of the wheel well and cause rubbing issue I'm trying to avoid.
That could be right they might be but the advice they give is just go buy more expensive wheels and cutting wheels is way too dangerous when they have zero first hand knowledge of what they are even talking about...thanks I will check that site out.
And I don't care about those wheels it's not what I asked to be answered your opinion of safety is different then mine doing this isn't going to make the wheel explode just because you can't fathom cutting a wheel doesn't make it super unsafe relax but if you feel like answering the question of...
Yes! I did that just to get his insight the guy has been doing it for decades and hasn't heard of a failure ever bunch of non knowledgeable people love putting there 2cents in I really just want these wheels but the main question of this topic is towards the end of my explanation and I'm mainly...
It's over 3k difference but at least you tried doing math. Yes I know what the cost is to achieve that power but thank you for your wonderful insight to nothing about the topic at hand. I can tell already this forum is full if super fun people.
Thank you for this actually that is a good alternative if they offer custom size/offsets but those are 1000$ a piece where as the aodhans are 990shipped for a 4 set lol
yep definitely ive just seen them done with way more powerful cars and heavier with no issue so im not so much worried about the safety part as I am the fitment.
Ive known people to do it on 1000hp+ cars that run 8 second 1/4miles with no issue im not so worried about the safety concern as I am the fitment lol im trying to see if i have my math right of the new offset it would be by adding a inch to the wheel and im coming up with a +47 offset so its now...
Not that big a deal as it sounds its been done for decades I like the wheels and im trying to come up with a solution to get them to work for how I want. Any actual feedback to my question or is it just going to be dont do that because you dont like it??
