Well good news is it'll be under warranty when I buy it, bad news is that the warranty explicitly excludes headlight lens, housings, and bulbs. But you're right, doesn't hurt to ask, thanks for the suggestion.
Thank you, dealer took off a lot of money when I brought up the issue which would have me worried also but they certified it and gave the car full warranty for a year and power train for 7 years to put my mind at ease.
I'm about to purchase a 2020 tomorrow and the one issue the dealer can't fix is this streaking on the inside of the headlight. They say that this part is not sealed and it won't be covered under warranty because it happens in humid weather and the headlight works, essentially not covering...
