These stories are probably completely fabricated to try and cover up their tracks. Before I put down the deposit, I told her to make 100% sure that no one else’s name was on the car.

Elaine Right when I thought I dodged all of the car dealership BS, I get a call from a salesman at Szott Toyota in MI this morning. Apparently the ‘dealership owner’s friend’ wanted the blue MT they have coming in first, even though I already have a deposit on it and have a VIN / build sheet.

No I was second on the list behind the red one. They haven’t gotten a second allocation yet though

Just reserved the blue one at Szott’s this morning. Saw it pop up on their website over the weekend. I still have an allocation at Fox Toyota but will probably end up dropping it here soon.

Supposedly I’m 2nd in line at Fox Toyota after the Red MT. The salesman said they get 2 allocations per month so hopefully I’ll be getting good news soon!
