Thank you. I just didn’t see too much in terms of aftermarket knobs for this platform. I’m not sure if it was because of the difficulty (not screw on from the factory and is integrated with the boot like most bmw M’ cars so kind of a hassle) or I’m just an old school ricer stuck in the old days...
indeed. Like I mentioned it’s not necessarily lighter just weight shift more north rather than the neck of the stock knob where it is. I definitely enjoy looking down at a ti knob while in traffic so for me it was the right move.
There hasn’t been many options for MT as far as shift knobs go. Especially for a nice Ti one. Just sharing my setup for those looking for examples of what to expect.
this is Billetworkz’ Ti torched sphere. It has nice weight to it but I will say feels as heavy or maybe even a bit LESS heavy...
Part number 45100-WAA02
Red interior was only offered with autos pre 2023. I realized the red/black steering doesn’t even come with the paddles when you order one via part number as that was my main concern cosmetically (or if they do, can be removed easily). Just want to make sure otherwise...
Mikey, firstly thank you so much for that detailed and thoughtful write up. This is going to be for an exhaust install so yes definitely will be on stands and yes I have 4 of the bmw adapters for the stands. I’ve always been big on safety even decades ago when I started working on cars in high...
I’m trying to find a low profile floor jack for my stock ride height car it seems jacking the car up is such an issue with stand adaptors and etc I just don’t have any ramps or wood at my disposable and would like a jack that’ll work without assistance. Thanks for the help...
this is kinda crazy cause my a80 Supra in need for speed underground 2 was this exact candy blue lol! But in reality, it’s a little darker than what I’m going for
Plans are to wrap blue. I love stratosphere blue…a lot. But figuring if I’m paying good money to get a wrap, I’d choose a blue that’s different but not too different from a stock paint code
curious if you had to wrap blue, what blue would yall choose?
I feel like analog gauges are just about becoming a thing of the past…
but I’m a ricer at heart, and reject the overflow of screens and digital multi gauges
I’ve found maybe one picture on the internet of a mk5 with a Defi boost gauge utilizing the podwurx pod.
anyone have any analog gauges...
Fantastic. It’s beautiful and enjoy in good health. I’m still on the fence. The ricer in me wants to go single exit, but if I even think about staying dual in upgrading I’m doing the amuse 100%. Such a beautiful exhaust
thanks for posting!! How do you like it?? Are you on stock dp? If it’s not too much trouble whenever you can can you get some close ups of the tips while installed ? Thanks! Sounds good!
has anyone recently had work done at Walnut Creek Toyota? Are they still chill? I plan on just a cat back and spoiler and hope that won’t give me any issues should warranty work arise.
lol! I certainly prefer the infotainment. I mean I am kind of biased as I’ve been using it for much longer than the Supra but just seems to flow nicer
