I tried to open my trunk and heard a weird mechanical noise coming from it and after reading the forums a lot of people said the lift gate needs to be replaced. I wanted to know if anyone has had this problem and fixed it themselves and if so how? I’m very tempted to pull on the cover piece but...

When I first sent my email the head of sales reached out and told me to buy new sensors I did and it was good for 3 months then the CEL came back today I just emailed him, just waiting for a response.

Update* I replaced the sensor in April and haven’t had a CEL since ??, but I personally wouldn't buy from AA again after this

Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I bought a new sensor that arrives tomorrow. The CEL automatically turned off randomly about four days ago and hasn’t turned back on. Regardless, I’ll replace the sensors and see if that permanently turns off the CEL.

I’ll try that. I cleared the code yesterday and started the procedure again. This morning, I drove it for two hours, and it didn’t have a CEL. I contacted AA, and they said it’s an oxygen sensor problem, not the DP.
