I also put my order in Aug 2022.
I was first in my line at my dealer but they're a small(er) dealer that doesn't get many allocations, I asked for Nitro Yellow but got an AZ allocation and since it was my back up colour I decided to go for it vs. possibly waiting another year for a chance at...
Just FYI I had to go out of state to get an allocation. For a car like this, if you really really want one ASAP, you really need to widen your search range to 500 miles. Of course I don't know your personal situation but obviously doing so will increase your chances. If it helps, what I did was...
I went the route of not ordering mine and joined call lists for allocations for like 30 dealers across the east coast. This was in October last year. I finally got a call in late March from a dealer in VA that had the one I was seeking and had to place a $2.5K deposit to hold it. Then, I had to...
...until the timing is right.
Additionally, if the dealer is reasonably high volume they should be able to tell you how often they receive allocations and where on the list you are. My dealer received an allocation every 3-4 weeks. Its not perfect since it does come down to your preferences...
...the car, doesn’t drive it off the lot then resells at above MSRP with the dealer taking a cut. Dealerships caught at this lose future allocations.
My A91 MT CULater also arrives late May/early June, at MSRP of $CDN 81,567.86, tx incl, no dealer added options. And yes, our $$$$ are worth not...
Really similar to my journey and solid feedback here. The only change I made is not cancel my deposit when my dealer got allocated.
We've read about some cars taking forever during the building/shipping/transporting phases, so you don't want to be stuck with no other options.
...2023, so I decided to change my preference to a manual.
For the next few months it was basically three different dealers telling me "no allocations available". Then in mid November my preference was allocated to a dealer. Once I had my allocation I cancelled my deposits at the other two...
I don't know about this one but

I think Ford was removing allocations as well from dealers.
Not sure if Toyota is ballsy enough to do similar. Probably just an IT fluke..
I noticed a local Toyota dealer which is one of the largest in the nation does not show any more allocations on the Toyota inventory website.
This isn’t just for Supras but for all models.
Can they have all their allocations just not show up? Or do they have to take their allocations off one...
if I put a deposit down/allocation for a 2024, how long does it take to arrive? Ideally we would agree on the price then and there and sign a contractual agreement, but not sure if that is a reasonable expectation or not. 2024 may suit me better as I’ll be able to save for a down payment that...
I'm in the Southeast near Atlanta, GA so I don't imagine my area being as crazy as SoCal. I am here for the AT 3.0 Premium, not interested in the MT so hoping my search is a bit easier. I would take an A91 if it made sense, but otherwise, I'm not terribly picky. If I hop on CarGurus.com I see...
...felt like the 2022 model year was done and gone by July and the 2023's were trickling out by September.
I imagine there are still 2023 allocations to be had right now, but by summer I would expect them to be drawing shallow. If you want one of the yearly limited edition A91's or a manual you...
...Going to try and have a little over 20% down payment for the car. I texted a local dealer and asked if he’ll let me know when 2024 allocations open up. Should I wait for the 2024 or go for a 2023 if they are available new. Drop any recommendations or concerns below! This will be my first car...
This is good advice. If I was going to do everything over I would do this instead of putting a deposit down at a local dealer. It's been a 10 month wait for me whereas people willing to travel to a dealer with an unsold allocation are skipping the majority of the wait time.
...It will show what dealers around you have allocated before they show up on the lots.

Allocations typically come out around the 1st and 15th on whatever month. But a lot of times it takes a few days after that before the dealers get them.
