Sadly I'm in Texas and they don't use the Toyota Project ETA tracking system that the west coast gets (I see you are in CA), so they don't get the clean tracking details above. It's a hot mess over here. My dealer didn't even know if it got to port yet, but it is at "railhead arrival complete"...
...an A91-MT on QC hold for missing parts.
Ask them for a screenshot of the pipeline activity. This is what mine currently looks like. Currently have two allocations and will see whichever one arrives first. The one at port is on a QC hold and another isn't held, but also hasn't arrived at port...
...deposit on an A91 MT CU Later at my local dealer (North shore of Montréal area). Salesmen said Toyota Canada guarantees MSRP and does not allow dealer markup under threat of getting allocations pulled. BUT… I have to wait to at least March, and possibly May for delivery.
Gonna be a long winter….
Logically, I'd produce half/half, but I saw online that it seemed that the majority of recent allocations were CU Later Grey. So maybe its not half/half
5k, no gimmicks, for me, my state *apparently* got single digit number of A91-MT's and I don't really have the time to carefully shop. Worth it to me since I know I'm keeping the car for a very long time!
Yes, I believe 500 A91-MT production is done, including the 50 Units of exclusive Matte White edition for Japan. (Identical to USDM A91-MT burnout white) So total of 550 Units.
...be shy about it either - I'm trying to justify what my dealer is asking.
From what I heard from a DM for Toyota and in California, allocations for A91-MT are done. Dealers either know if they're getting one or not - how true this is, I don't know.
For those that aren't getting an A91-MT...
The only AT cars I've seen people report allocations for are the new Stratosphere Blue cars. My guess still is that they are only putting out the "new" cars, the A91 limited edition cars and the new blue color cars, and everything else will follow on later.
If you mean a dealership like Ciocca, I don’t believe one exists for the Supra. Dealers tend to get smaller volumes of Supras and I don’t believe there’s a single dealer doing high volumes like you get with Corvettes.
That’s a good point. I’m hoping that MSRP allocations are available (even if rare with a 1 year wait). People have been able to find G80s at MSRP with some due diligence.
I’m curious how much overhead the power train in the M2 has. We already know the S58 is capable of big numbers, but we don’t...
Modern Toyota in Winston Salem NC sold me mine at MSRP. “Mom” was the sales person. Yeah that’s her name. I’m sure there are many more. They were very good with the process and enclosed transport cost me $1000 from NC to FL. Highly recommend them.
...world where there are a few high volume dealers that are known to sell for MSRP and, due to their high amount of sales, tend to get more allocations than anywhere else, resulting in the customer getting their car quicker than if they went to a random dealer in their city. Is there anything...
