It also looks like many of us are in the same general vicinity in the Midwest as well (Missouri, KC, Arkansas) and I kind of wonder if we are not exactly the hot market. I'd bet that states like California and Florida get allocations in greater number and sooner than us in the cow towns.
I'm in a similar boat. I put a deposit in a few weeks ago for a 2022, my dealer said "sure we can get you one no problem" and after two allocation cycles they have bupkis. I asked them if my car was going to be a 2023 instead of a 2022 and all they will tell me is "we are hoping to get one any...
Anyone have a deposit down for an allocation but still have a dealer that has no allocations, yet?
Supposedly I'm first on the list for my dealer, but obviously they can't promise a unit at any particular time in any config. But so far they haven't gotten ANY '23 allocations.
OP, can you edit your first post with all the confirmed allocations so we have an idea of where and how many these MT and A91MT are going?
May be if a moderator can help clean us this thread, too. Seems some don’t understand having an allocation and putting in a deposit.
...assembly line. I have heard of "special order" cases mostly on the Lexus side but I'm not inclined to believe it was anything more than allocations getting shuffled from one dealer to another with rare or supposedly "unpopular" combinations.
When you look at old model brochures for Japanese...
That would be cool, but I'm just going to go for stratosphere/portimao blue. I'm really digging that color, and it seems no one's taking the stratosphere AT allocations, so I don't think I'm going to have to fight too hard for it lol.
Hm. How does Toyota decide what to send. I have never seen a Supra at my local dealer. Maybe because it is really a 3 season vehicle and we do have winters here in Denver metro.
...can put in order requests and hope that Toyota gives them an allocation for what they requested. However they ultimately don't have a choice.
A lot of dealers trade allocations with each other to get the specs/colors that customers want. I'm not sure if this is something all of them do though.
...to be shipped to The States and 97 GR Supra A91's. ", and given multiple people on the forum with a A91 order confirming getting allocations it seems that ATs and A91s are coming first. I hope they will start produce MTs soon instead of waiting for the 500 A91s all being built and then start...
Premium will get manual, from what I’ve read on the Facebook pages and stuff people are already putting in their allocations for them, one guy said his will be here end of this month somehow
My dealership has an allocation for a 2023 GR Supra in Stratosphere Blue but it is an AT. Boo! No MT allocations but they also did not find any MT allocations for the entire midwest region so not sure what's happening.
I've heard from a Canadian dealer who's getting several 23 supra this month saying that they can get that many because they've sold many Supra before. So it could be. But if your dealer is willing to reach out to Toyota proactively to place an order instead of just sitting there waiting for an...
...Supra they'd ever ordered or received if it comes in. Which makes me wonder if they will even get an allocation... does Toyota "discriminate" against dealers who have never had certain models before? My dealer talks a big game about easily getting me what I want, but so far two allocations...
