I will go look at it once it is in. But, I am one of the ones who has said all along if i want engagement I will drive my old M3, if i want to go fast at the track will keep the paddle Zupra.
He said production is early sept, he "says" they will have it on lot by end of Oct.
My concern has been the potential for actual allocations of the general 3.0L 6MT Supras (not the limited edition models) being rather thin because of Toyota's shrewdly estimated 1/4 take rate for 6MT's... plus whatever markups dealers will undoubtedly add to any 6MT models compared to all A/T's...
I was hoping for news from my dealer this week as they were supposed to know about their new allocations on Monday, but nobody returned my call. I'm assuming no news means no allocation. This will make the second round of allocations my preference hasn't been available. My guess is that 2022...
...on my wife's RX... none available, so the "sales pitch" was literally: "Order what you want and wait 6 months... take it or leave it." That was for the base model... naturally the wait list for an NX450+ is more like 18 months with tons of orders already and very limited dealer allocations.
I just talked to my dealer and he confirmed that he saw some other dealerships in the US are already getting allocations for the 2023 supras but they didn't have one yet. I'm first in line at this dealer so hopefully the wait isn't too long.
I'm surprised that the second largest province by sales volume has no A91 allocations. Although if i'm counting right, only 42 of the 50 2023 A91 produced for Canada in 2023 are on that list.
Has pricing information already been released in Canada?
Hopefully the US is starting to get allocations as well.
Edit: Just saw on facebook that US dealers are getting allocations now too.
...The first production run was only given as stock, and they began filling requests in the months following, with the large majority of allocations linked to requests and hardly any stock.
Filled requests will be viewable by dealers EOW / early next week. For whatever reason Toyota releases...
