that is the goal, now turns out having the money isn't enough for most Porsche dealerships anymore so have to jump through a few hoops to make it happen but ya spent all day at every P dealer in the area looking for who has the best allocations.
...Baloney. I want to trade my 21 and "ordered"" a blue last labour's day. After annoying the dealer in early February he checked the allocations and we were June?? But he traded for a blue at coming early April. Crazy system. I do t see a blue on this list. And why can't we get the...
...that car hits their lot without a reservation, it will be marked up.
Holman currently has a waitlist that’s at least 8 people long. Ourisman does not and they said they routinely get 2 allocations a month. Route 22 Toyota, at the time of writing this has a white 3.0 premium allocation available.
Good for you sticking to your guns! And why I like buying long distance from the comfort of my home… Congrats ? amigo!! Don’t forget to sign up for your free track day ?️ ?

...Saturday (March 2nd). I started looking in November. I used the tracker spreadsheet, I checked it a couple times a day and looked for new allocations to show up. I then called those dealers to see if they would sell to me at MSRP for a refundable deposit. Took me about a week to get an...
I still think the zip code search on Toyota’s website works fine. Keep moving out ~150-200 miles. When you find them in inventory, you can call that dealer and deal. It may be in route or on the lot. Regardless, it’s been allocated. If they think this is the last car on the planet worthy of a...
...find a new AT 3.0 Premium to sit next to my GR86. I was hoping that trying to find an automatic would be easier than the MT, but all the allocations in my area are actually MT, surprisingly. And of course, there's just so few of them.
I guess my question is - is the allocation spreadsheet...
Let me give you a secret.
There is no such thing as non refundable deposit. Unless they sell you something or provide a service, charge you money for it and then say we'll count that towards the purchase of a car. Like a plumber asking for $200 to give you a quote and then saying he'll count...
I do finance for a Jeep dealer for a living..The doc fee is extremely high I.e our’s is $499…Also the government fee is ur taxes lol! So the a la cart gov fee is bs…
yeah it wouldn’t be worth it at all for 1000, the dealership I signed with said I’ll get a delivery date within 1 year so I guess that’s what I have to settle with
in the meantime I’ll look at Toyotas allocations and expand my radius
yeah i started looking at their allocations recently and ill just keep looking.
i hope it all works out with this dealer because if it takes a year ill be able to cut out the bank
Toyota doesn't take orders. It's a request and dealers wait for allocations that match. 2023 production have been done for a while. I highly doubt there are that many if any 2023 at ports. If 2024 45 anniversary are already in the hands of owners or soon will be. They wouldn't be producing more...
I worked for a dealership that did $500 refundable and I was always glad. To me it would be hard to tell a customer they weren’t allowed to change their mind. I’d go with the $500 refundable simply because they deserve the business.
they seem to think theyll have a supra on the lot in the next 90 days, even i though that was a lie but i want to believe it
looks like ill call dealership #1 in the morning and see if we can move on with the process.
id name the dealerships but i dont want to get sniped , will shout both of...
This.
Any dealer saying they know when they will get one is lying.
Toyota gives allocations every 2 weeks. There’s no way a dealer knows what they are getting until it comes out.
I’ve been on a wait list for 9 months and only moved up one spot.
...they will do MSRP
dealer #2 that wants the nonrefundable deposit sent me this "proposal" for me to sign and date, and said they usually get their allocations in around 90 days.
whats the better option? im leaning towards dealer #2 but i dont want to get scammed out of $1000
am new plz help
I drove an hour and a bit to see that one in person, and NEVER seen a car with so many stone chips and imperfections in 20k of driving in the SAME YEAR as production... it is in such bad shape, still had a stone in the grille sitting in their show room. Was really disappointed.
there’s a dealer with a 23’ Used nitro yellow AT for sale for I believe $59k as for MT’s 24 allocations are starting to hit dealers but your best bet is to call them and get on a list
...without sell-through or sale velocity data, the cause of drop in sales can't be determined.
Given how 20+ dealers I've reached out to in the last 12 months had no new Supras in the lot with most allocations were already reserved, I would attribute the drop in sales because of supply, not demand.
