Thanks for the fast response. Was really sad and nervous about it. ill take a look at the levels later tonight. Hope it is just a little low and no further issues. ::fingers crossed::
It happened to me a while back. I checked the coolant anyways and surely enough it was a little low so I topped it off. Haven’t had the issue since and I check the levels every now and then. Double check your coolantcap and that it isn’t allowing the coolant to evaporate out
Yeah.. I'm fairly confdent its moisture buildup. The seal seems ok too and the coolant level is slightly over max so it should be ok. My plan is to wipe it down and clean the muck off and then go for a Sunday drive and see how she responds.
Hi guys. Has anyone ever tried to remove the various Verus Engineering aluminum caps from the stock oil cap, coolantcaps, A/C caps, etc. If so how did you do it without damaging them or the stock caps?
Thanks!
Starting a build journal, it's been going by so fast in such a short time. Most of these mods were in my 2-3 year plan but instead it happened in less than 3 months lol.

Most of the time I saw this it was a bad cap or a cracked/badly secured fitting letting air into the system as the heat/pressure rises after shut down. The air inside lets the coolant begin to boil. Any coolant losses could be so small you’ll never notice for weeks. As mentioned above the A/C...
the Only line I can’t see it the coolant line to the turbo and block but I’d figure there’s some loss of coolant if there was some sort of leak. With the radiator cap, I’d figure there would be some sort of spray residue around the cap seal or area but nothing. So the last two options are stuck...
This can be a couple of things. Failed rad cap, blown head gasket, stuck thermostat, air trapped in the system somewhere. Something to remember is the coolant reaches its highest temp immediately after shut off. The fan is no longer running and the coolant is half stagnant but also “flowing”...
White smoke is water, so check your coolant level. Also look for weird brown or white goop on the oil fill cap. I don't think we have radiator caps, so maybe look for signs of oil in the coolant tank ...? I'd have to go out to look at the car to be sure on that one. You can also take off the...

Don't think getting a new cap is the full solution. but The caps are known to go bad. So would be good to rule it out.
Sorry this happened to you! Hopefully not a head gasket ? I haven’t had this with the Supra but…. Many other cars I’ve owned have spewed coolant due to a faulty cap. I’ve replaced the cap myself and other times took the car to the dealer & ended up with them replacing the whole damn reservoir...
