    It’s a timed service reminder. Once you swap the fluid you can reset it in the dash menu same as you reset the oil change reminder.

    So - Getting ready to do my first oil change. Does having the car on an incline reduce the amount of old oil you drain out of the pan, etc.?? It would make it much easier if did not have to lift all four corners of the vehicle.......

    That’s my debate, to use or not use the free oil changes. In addition, my car came with the Toyota care which adds an additional 2 oil change. I do want to have the maintenance documented, so I guess I’ll have to roll the dice and let them service it.

    Make sure date/time is correct. And also make sure your hood is CLOSED all the way. My hood wasn’t closed and I was trying to reset the oil maintenance light and it kept saying “reset impossible” too….. Took months to figure it out….

    Not sure how or why, but a lot of the computer glitches just go away after driving around, turning the car off, locking the doors, sitting a while…. Not the best answer and haven’t seen or heard of this error yet. Will be interesting to see the responses. Good luck brother!
