Oilpump will normally not exceed 5.5 bar under wot
Normal oil pressure at idle is between 2.3 bar-2.7 bar
I have a 2020 and sometimes my idrive will fail the oil measurement so I would turn the car off for five to ten minutes, turn it back on and it will complete the oil measurement. You can...
...of people replaced the oil control valve, and the oil level sensor. These had no impact on resolving the issue. The core problem is the old oilpump. I haven't taken one apart, but apparently the old oilpump part # has plastic internals that start to fail from temperature shifts in cold...
I bought my 2020 a year ago, it has a Pure 850, Pure stage 1 trans, Visconti stage 1 fuel pump, port injectors, full e85, etc etc. Made roughly 700, built and tuned on Ecutek by P2uned. I didn’t pay for anything from P2uned, so consequently getting answers from them is tedious. I’ve heard Norris...
thanks. Been trying to figure that out. So what is the intake manifold cooled with, ie. Coolant too and does that system have a separate pump? Wondering if it’s worthwhile to have a water misting system in front of the front heat exchanger triggered at a specific temp?
GL-4 and GL-5 fluid are not interoperable. These are for different kinds of gears. All transmission oil is a gear oil, but not all gear oil is a transmission fluid.
GL-4 oil has a relatively mild amount of extreme pressure (EP) additives that protect the gear metallurgy and geometry under the...
...with one of my local Toyota dealers and they essentially told me not to worry about it. I’ve researched the forums and it seems like it’s an oilpump/sensor issue. I was wondering if I should be prepared to replace the pump/sensor? Any additionally info is appreciated.
Thanks!

Update - Replaced vanos central valve and confirmed actuators working. I did do an oil change and now seeing 20 degrees less at the maximum point to cam actual drops off (previously seeing dips into the high 50 to low 60 range and now nothing below 80 degrees). Think that 20 degrees is enough to...
also , i been noticing some weird noises coming from the back end , not sure if its the exhaust or something else , but it sounds kinda like a whining sound , but not like a supercharger whine , more like a sad puppy whine if that makes sense , and it only happens when i’m at low speeds , but...
...drive shaft + unplug rear connector + remove trans cooler hoses + unbolt bell housing). Take the pan off. You swap your valve body, trans oilpump, plus some plastic fittings over to the new trans. Put the new ATS pan back on. Put the trans back on the car sloooowly.
I cannot say enough good...

I don't understand why you are measuring the drop over a 2 hour period when the manual calls for a 2 minute test like most other cars do? You might want to consider that the volume of air in the header tank is very small so the pressure is going to vary noticeably with small temp changes and...
That's the head. Something was definitely bouncing around in there. Likely a plug tip or something.
The heads obviously been pulled off, so there isn't a quick fix. At the very least it needs to be decked, and so does the block. This engine is not going back together.
Also, the full original...
I checked, my EU spec oilpump number is already the upgraded one, seems like all EU 3.0's came witht the "metal" one according to parts numbers, there was no change since 2019. Will see if its just the sensor + will see if there are any abnormal pressue fluctuations in memory.
...stop at 20% or so. I would turn off the engine, and wait 5-10 minutes to start it back up, and it would measure fine.

you could take the aux cooler out and easily run a bigger main rad, lines, and pump to beef up cooling considerably. Or you could add an oil cooler and delete the aux rad since that would decrease the load on it.
Any non-oem style splitter would be illegal in GLTB Street class, though
