Installed the jb4 on the Supra and took off the mbrp side exit exhaust off the truck to go back to stock :(. Failed clamps caused the pipes to come loose and couldn't get the borked clamps off, plus it was a bit obnoxious for long trips and now we have the AWE track on the Supra for making noise...

That's a little different from me. I'd do coilovers and as many SPL bits as I could to add to my wheel/tire setup and run laps around exotics. But, again, I'm not a HP guy, since it doesn't help me go faster.

Thx man! I have an AWE track, so no flappers. Also have a JB4 and been working with Jesse on my custom tune. I really hope I can keep the car in manual mode & slightly roll the throttle. But may stay in manual mode with sport off if it's really that touchy... It should be a fun weekend...
Put it in sport mode but set engine to normal. The throttle is way too touchy coming out of tight low speed turns in sport mode. Also, if you have a jb4, set the exhaust flapper to be open all the time. It closes when you set engine mode to normal. All nannies off brings out the real fun!

JB4 won’t increase pops at all just increases boost. If you want sound a nice cat back exhaust and downpipe would suffice AWE makes really top notch acoustic stuff had their products on my 392 charger and C7 Z06 as well always great sounds
That's very odd! If anything it should increase without a cat filtering the gas that goes bang pop crackle bang detonating in the exhaust. I will say, and the reason I asked the question about the JB4 controlling this, is that they seemed to be more muted after I installed the device. May just...
