The big tuners are definitely really difficult to reach. They have big projects, are on a time crunch, etc, so it kind of makes sense. It's all just word of mouth and who can convince you the most at this point.
LOL nah I get it, it's just it barely charges and it heats the fuck out my phone which causes apple carplay to lag or my phone to entirely just shut off. I prefer just charging it via cable since its faster too.
The Racechrono app does it if you record with the phone and log data via OBD2 via the phone.
If you do have separate data. Say... an AIM or RaceCapture device and record via a GoPro, the RaceRender app is good at merging the two and customizing the overlay...
I have to get my DME finished cloning and they didn’t reply to any of my IG messages or emails. Before that I emailed and IG them about cloning process 2 months ago multiple times and did not hear back. Is there another way to reach them or by phone call?
Haaaaaaa! I'll follow you on this one. It has been unplugged for days, and I haven't had issues with signal or overheating. Again, still horribly underpowered, but it doesn't brick the phone anymore, so I'm good!!
...drive through the backroads, it did auto adjust going into a hairpin but now I hear it trying to max out while just casually street driving as if your phone fell out your pocket and it's ringing on vibrate. Eventually found the sound to be the lumbar support.
Anyways, was this covered by...
yeah the xgps160 is way better than the built in 1 hz gps on the phone. i'm actually gonna borrow a friend's garmin setup for a bit to see how it compares, since i still have some gps speed issues in the downhill and uphill. racechrono is best of the bunch for phone apps though.
Stock DP, I'll see if I can get a video, I don't have any fancy audio equipment so it'd probably be someone holding my phone
Definitely louder than stock, but once the cold start high idle stops its back to almost normal again.
1) Image at the end of this post. They told me 8500 over the phone so I went in today to get the quote on paper. Parts are 4966 and the service guy said they charge 10 hours labour which is 2800 =$7766 which is less the phone quite but still too much. My mechanic did it for 800 labour since we...
You can also put your phone in the tray upside down and it won't activate the charging. That's my lazy way of getting around it XD.
One of these days I'll try and track down the PN for the tray the UAE cars get since iirc they don't get wireless charging at all, and I'll install that. It's...
...is 50% printing and 50% design. Id really recommend playing with fusion 360 and blender. Both are free, both are powerful, and you can make a lot of cool stuff in relatively short time spans, i.e. my fender vents, my hood vent, headlight ducts, phone mounts, spats, my splitter tunnels, etc.
I haven't done any really hard driving with it yet since it's still cold here. It'll probably be about a month or two before we head to the mountains and really put it through its paces. I didn't really have track driving in mind for this so I'm not sure if the magnets are strong enough. It may...
...with just a few mods.
Plus the JB4 monitoring is awesome! MHD and I think BM3 both use wifi to connect to the adapter and they want your phone in airplane mode and bluetooth off blah blah so you can’t use your phone easily and monitor at the same time since wireless apple car play also uses...
