Since the wireless charging tray is only good for warming my phone up, I decided to make a Magsafe phone mount to display OBD data on my phone. So far the mount has been holding up perfectly. I'm interested to see if any issues arise in the heat of summer but I made it out of ABS so it should...

B7F8F6: HDCP: authentication failed - supposedly an issue connecting a phone to the car, maybe left over from a previous owner. Maybe try and erase all previous connections / owners.
I won't promise any of this is true...
...to my house, Bluetooth off or on.
If it happens again and for a while, I’ll go to some off location while running an errand, delete my phone and set it up again. Turn the car off, go do whatever I went there for and come back to the car after she’s been off for a bit. Get in the car, drive...
...Bootmod3 dashboard locking up/freezing? The app still works but the gauges stop updating data. I disabled Bluetooth and made sure all of the phone connectivity was disabled in the car but it still happened.
I am dealing with some heat issues and I am trying to use the data to manage IAT and...
Do you leave your phone on the charging pad? I have an iPhone 14 Pro and I found that if I left it on the charging pad it would get incredibly hot and eventually overheat, the symptoms you describe are almost exactly how it'd behave before overheating.

I can't even flash the car with the phone app after the last update. It bricked my ECU. Every time they update their mobile app, something breaks. It's really frustrating.

What about using AAIdrive if you have an Android phone?
It should show you nearly all the temps in the main screen.
Or you can use Bimmerlink with an iPhone and Carplay to see every value you wish on your main screen. (have to connect to OBD)
What questions do you have about a P800 turbo that would 150% warrant an actual phone conversation that pulls a person away from what they are doing that can't be answered via email or text? P800 is cookie cutter super simple.
Just curious honestly, because I don't think customers realize how...
I can play videos through Samsung screen mirroring on my phone and turning off the the " disable videos while in motion" setting in bimmercode. I was never able to do it with an iPhone, however I didn't try too hard since I mostly use Android.
...that's made me happy. Late last year was leaving Publix in Atlanta with my buddy and a little boy pops out his mom's minivan window with his phone recording, so I gave him a rev. Was super cute, he was so amped and he was gesturing "again! again". Did it once more for him, after his mom made...
