Thanks for the info!
It's a buyer's market right now, overpriced days are done and over with.
First time ever that I've had a dealer slash a price over the phone, I wonder how much more they'll slash in person.
According to Google no, not if there is an active connection to your phone via bluetooth. But as I recall I was able to disconnect my Bluetooth or turn off the app and still set the alarm. Here's the copy and paste from Google.
No, you generally cannot leave a V-Linker (or any OBD-II device)...
...for jb4 or did you unplug the db25 prior to first flash or some other way to make sure it doesnt interfere?
Other than airplane mode on the phone and making sure you got enough voltage/current (I plan on jumping to another car with it running just to be safe) was there anything else to do...
...advice! I looked into the app permissions, and confirmed it had the Bluetooth connection permitted, and it still didn't work. Looked into my phones background limits too and couldn't find anything there as well. Honestly the delay is tolerable and not usually an issue its more so the app not...
I’ve done all of that including using my wife’s phone and nothing, the Manuel IP didn’t work, simply trying to connect to the adapter WiFi didn’t work and I have delete my phone from the car play
Well that was a smart idea. I did some more driving and eventually it did come out. Really disconcerting when it is making the noise as everyone has said.
...either. I had to use a metal wire to thread it in between the rotor and the shield, then pulled it in the direction the rock. Took some time to figure out where the rock was using my phone camera, but now I keep a metal wire in the car for when it happens again. Used it twice so far in 20k miles.

...It’s not hard to do at all (at least watching him ?). I really think I got the process down now though. Turn off the home wifi & carplay on my phone & then connect to the WiFi of the dongle. Or something like that ?. Regardless, couldn’t be happier with this little sucker. And thanks for...
...lucky I was to get my 24. I happen to bump into someone, who knew someone, who knew someone, who knew the head of Toyota Sales. Who then made a phone call and had Toyota/BMW build my exact car to my request and shipped here. No deposit, no paperwork signed and at MSRP. Just a phone call 3.5...
I went to my local dealer. I had to tell them to look up the new number or they would keep giving me the wrong sensor. My body shop could not figure it out for 2 months.... Took me one phone call.
