    This is probably the sleep talking (2 AM) but from a manufacturing perspective, could it be that the engine in the prototype was a CGI B58? Don't LS blocks come in aluminum as well as iron? I always thought the costs for modifying tooling would be huge but by sticking to B58 architecture...
